Transportation Coordinator

The Volunteer Transportation Center is seeking a full-time Transportation Coordinator to join our Watertown team. This is a rewarding, people-focused role at the heart of our mission: matching volunteer drivers with the neighbors who count on them to reach medical, social, and essential appointments.

What you’ll do

• Schedule and confirm daily rides, pairing clients with available volunteer drivers.
• Serve as a friendly first point of contact for clients calling our ride lines.
• Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and driver availability.
• Support volunteer drivers with routes, questions, and day-of changes.

What we’re looking for

• Strong organizational skills and a calm, helpful phone manner.
• Comfort with scheduling software and basic data entry.
• A genuine care for the people we serve across Northern New York.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
