Community fundraisers that keep our volunteer drivers on the road, year after year.
The Volunteer Transportation Center provides rides to people in our community facing the barrier of transportation. Every dollar raised by the Volunteer Transportation Center Foundation goes to mileage reimbursement for our dedicated volunteer drivers, making this transportation possible.
Many of our events are annual traditions, from chili and golf to trail runs and trap shoots, and new ones are always in the works.

Our Annual Events
Many of our events return every year. Here's a taste of what to look forward to.
North Country Chili Cook-Off
A North Country tradition for more than two decades. Local restaurants and amateur chefs bring the heat while the community votes for its favorites, all to keep our volunteer drivers on the road.
SpokerRide
Our annual motorcycle poker run through the scenic North Country. Riders collect cards at stops along the route, and the best hand takes a prize, and every mile ridden supports miles driven for neighbors in need.
Black River Trail Run
A 15K, 10K, and 5K trail race along the beautiful Black River in Watertown. Runners and walkers of every level are welcome.
Race info & registrationPosh Purse Palooza
An evening of fun, food, and fundraising built around auctions of designer purses, each stuffed with goodies from local businesses.
Shootin' Trap for Trips
A 50-bird trap shoot hosted at the Carthage Rod and Gun Club. A decade-long tradition that trades clay pigeons for charitable trips.
Jefferson–Lewis Golf Tournament
Our annual golf tournament benefiting rides in Jefferson and Lewis Counties. A full day on the course with lunch, prizes, and great company.
St. Lawrence County Golf Tournament
A summer golf classic supporting the St. Lawrence County program. Gather a foursome and drive fore a cause.
Spaghetti Dinner
A hearty community dinner benefiting the VTC. Good food and good neighbors, together at one table.
