Interested in becoming a Lewis County Volunteer Driver?
Our volunteer drivers use their own vehicles to transport neighbors in Jefferson, Lewis, St. Lawrence Counties. Drivers are reimbursed up to the standard IRS mileage rate to cover the cost of fuel and vehicle repairs. The ideal Volunteer Driver must:
- be willing to give a minimum of 4 hours per week
- have a clean driving record
- pass a thorough background check
- and have a love of giving back to the community
