The Volunteer Transportation Center, Inc. (VTC) has been serving Northern New York for more than 30 years. Using a network of volunteer drivers our mission is to provide access to critical health care including life-sustaining services like renal dialysis and cancer treatment. In 2020, amidst the pandemic, our volunteers provided nearly 5 million miles of transportation.

Once again VTC is proud to announce a brand new partnership with Madison County Office for the Aging, Inc./RSVP (MCOFA) serving seniors 60+ years. What does this mean? Well, VTC can now assist seniors in Madison County get to critical health care appointments just like we have been doing in the north country.

Those wishing to access the program must be 60 years or older and reside in Madison County. Transportation may include trips to Syracuse, Oneida, Cooperstown, and beyond. There is an application process to become a client. Once approved we request 48 hour notice to book an appointment for transportation. It’s just that simple!

An application may be found on our website by clicking here or calling the office to have an application mailed to your home.
