The Volunteer Transportation Center provides rides to NNY neighbors who otherwise would not have access to critical medical, mental health, dental, and other life-sustaining services. Our services are provided to those in Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence Counties regardless of ability to pay. We also have contracts with municipal insurance companies (for example, New York State Medicaid) and many human service agencies.
If you need a ride to an upcoming medical appointment, call the appropriate number below between 8am and 5pm, Monday through Friday.

Prefer the bus, or need help getting to a stop?
- Jefferson County — JCPT Connect, Jefferson County Public Transit’s on-demand bus service.
- St. Lawrence County — the First Mile Last Mile program: a VTC volunteer driver picks you up at home and connects you with St. Lawrence County Public Transit’s bus routes, then brings you home from the stop at the end of the day.
