The Volunteer Transportation Center Foundation, Inc. needs your support to help the Volunteer Transportation Center in its mission to provide essential transportation to those in need here in Northern New York.

Even as we continue to navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic, the VTC’s faithful volunteer drivers are dedicated to the mission of providing critical trips for those who have no other means of transportation to medical appointments and food sources.

One of the biggest challenges the VTC has faced over the past year and a half has been the inability to transport more than one client per vehicle. While this is a safety measure that was put in place to limit the potential spread of COVID-19, it has limited the agency’s efficiency of scheduling routes for its volunteers and, by extension, increase its expense of mileage reimbursement.

That’s where you come in. With your donation — in any amount — we can help the VTC continue to say “yes” to those in need of transportation. Having access to critical needs transportation is often the difference between a person’s ability to remain healthy and live independently at home versus being placed in a healthcare facility — that is how your donation can make a difference.

On this Giving Tuesday, please give through our secure link at www.volunteertransportationcenter.org/donate. Don’t want to give online? Give us a call at 315-303-2590! VTC Foundation Director Jeremiah S. Papineau will be happy to speak with you regarding your gift.

Donations may also be mailed in care of “VTC Foundation” to: Volunteer Transportation Center Foundation, 24685 State Route 37, Watertown New York 13601. If making a Giving Tuesday donation by check or money order, please note “Giving Tuesday Donation” in the memo line.

The Volunteer Transportation Center Foundation, Inc. is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization (EIN: 84-3668566), meaning your gift is tax-deductible to the greatest extent of tax law.
