I.T. Technician
Job description
Job Summary: IT Technician responsibilities include providing technical support for the mobile app and any devices that are issued to volunteer drivers while working to eradicate lost revenue due to volunteer error, mobile app and device issues. This position will also be responsible for implementing 1115 waiver billing and integrating it into the organization’s current billing process.
Specific Duties:
- Maintain, track, issue and recover VTC owned devices and accessories for volunteers as needed.
- Work with the Executive Director, Compliance Officer and IT to establish and maintain VTC policies on device issuance, usage and compliance.
- Develop a successful volunteer training program for the mobile app and devices. Orient new volunteers, monitor progress, and provide additional mobile app and device support to volunteers as needed.
- Main point of contact for volunteer mobile app and device support hotline.
- Monitor the internal software throughout the day for device and app issues and immediately work to resolve any issues found.
- Work with volunteers and staff throughout VTC to eradicate lost revenue due to mobile app or device misuse, malfunction, volunteer error, etc.
- Assist app developers in identifying and solving interface issues with internal software.
- Travel to St. Lawrence Canton office to provide support for mobile app and device issues on an as needed basis.
- Prepare and integrate 1115 waiver program billing into the agency’s existing financial systems, aligning the new program with current billing software and processes, and maintaining compliance with all relevant financial and regulatory requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications: A combination of education and work experience that demonstrates the ability to carry out the job duties as described. An Associate Degree and two (2) years of work experience is preferable. Must have excellent oral and written communications and interpersonal skills. Must be well-organized, able to work independently and able to meet deadlines. Must be able to perform well under pressure.

Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour
