(LOWVILLE, N.Y.) – Cedars Golf Course will host the 9th Annual Volunteer Transportation Center Jefferson-Lewis Golf Tournament to benefit the Volunteer Transportation Center Foundation. The event will be held Saturday, Sept. 7, at the course, located at 9368 East Road, Lowville.
The Volunteer Transportation Center Jefferson-Lewis Golf Tournament will again follow a captain and crew format, beginning with registration at 8 a.m. and with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Registration will remain at $360 per team, which includes a cart, dinner and tournament shirt. Skins and super skins may be purchased at registration. Raffles and a 50-50 drawing will also round out the event. Only the first 36 teams to register can be included.
The tournament will take place regardless of weather, so no rain date or refunds will be offered. However, if this event is canceled due to restrictions put in place over COVID-19, refunds will be offered.
This event is underwritten by Excellus BlueCross Blue Shield, Watertown Savings Bank, and Stewart’s Shops, with Eagle Level sponsorship from the Kinney Drugs Foundation and One Digital/Benefit Services Group. Monetary and in-kind donation sponsors are still being sought.
